Sa'ada – Saba:
A speech event was held on Monday in Dahyan city in Majz district of Sa'ada governorate to commemorate the anniversary of the passing of the divine scholar Badr al-Din Amir al-Din al-Houthi.
Attended by governorate representatives, executive office members, and scholars, the event featured Sa'ada University President Dr. Abdulrahim al-Humran, who lauded Sayyed Badr al-Din al-Houthi's virtues, scholarly and jihadi life, asceticism, piety, and patience, describing him as an ally of the Qur'an and a supporter of the oppressed.
He emphasized the commemoration as a crucial educational milestone to recall the scholar's comprehensive school of faith, knowledge, and awareness of contemporary challenges.
Muhsin al-Hamzi of the Yemeni Scholars Association described the late scholar as an irreplaceable figure among Yemeni scholars and a leading Islamic figure despite political oppression.
Islamic figure Mohammed al-Hakim also reviewed aspects of his life and commitment to societal purification and reform.
