The Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, inspected on Monday the level of work discipline in several units affiliated with the ministry.
The minister, along with his deputy Mohammed Al-Najjar, reviewed the adherence to work schedules following the Eid holiday at the Yemen Oil Company, the General Corporation for Oil and Gas, and the Yemeni Company for Oil Investments.
They were briefed by the Acting Executive Director of the Yemen Oil Company, Mohammed Al-Lakumi, on workflow in various departments, facilities, and sections of the company, as well as the level of compliance with official working hours.
The Oil Minister praised the discipline demonstrated by the company’s leadership and employees, which reflects their commitment to accomplishing tasks, improving institutional work, and enhancing performance. He urged them to redouble efforts and boost performance to contribute to fulfilling the company’s responsibilities.
The minister also assessed work discipline at the General Corporation for Oil and Gas on the second day of official work following the Eid al-Adha holiday. He was briefed by the corporation’s director, Mahmoud Al-Noum, on workflow, discipline levels, and the implementation of programs and tasks assigned to the corporation, as well as its plans and procedures for modernizing services.
The minister commended the discipline of the corporation’s leadership and staff and their efforts, particularly given the exceptional circumstances the country is facing due to ongoing aggression and blockade.
Additionally, the Oil Minister reviewed workflow and discipline levels at the Oil and Mineral Investments Company. He was briefed by the company’s Deputy Executive Director, Abdulrahman Al-Akou’, on operations, progress in implementing plans, and challenges facing the company’s activities.
Minister Al-Amir praised the efforts of the company’s leadership and staff in carrying out their duties, stressing the importance of training and capacity-building through modern programs in coordination with the Petroleum Training Center.
