MOSCOW October 17.2023 (Saba) - Russia warned the Zionist entity's government not to launch a ground attack to target resistance in the Gaza Strip.

Russian media quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying today that there is a threat of an expansion of the Middle East conflict; This has terrible repercussions for the entire region and may lead to a larger humanitarian catastrophe.

The Kremlin says Putin intends to discuss the Middle East situation with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Belt and Road Forum.

Putin spoke by telephone with a number of Middle East leaders on Monday, calling on Putin to halt military operations to protect civilians.
