Prisoner al-Fasfous enters 62nd day of hunger strike
[Tue, 03 Oct 2023 14:47:34 +0300]

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS October 03. 2023 (Saba) - Palestinian administrative prisoner Kayed Al-Fasfous continues open hunger strike for the 62nd day in a row, amid warnings of an attempt on his life, especially since prisoner al-Fafsous faces a serious health condition in Ramla prison.

The "Palestine Today" news agency reported on Tuesday that the enemy's Supreme Court had decided on Monday to return al-Fasfous case to the Military Court of Appeals to consider the appeal again, which had previously decided to refuse to consider the appeal submitted by the lawyer of the Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Authority. .

This represents one aspect of the role played by enemy courts, including the Supreme Court, which has worked over the years to invent paths and tools to circumvent the cases of hunger strikers, and to systematically evade taking any decision that might lead to achieving their demand.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Club confirmed that continuing to go to the enemy's courts, specifically in the cases of administrative detainees, is of no use, and this is what all previous and current experiences have proven, especially since these courts are sham courts, conducted without the knowledge of the administrative detainee, or his lawyer (of the charges) against him, and the enemy’s claim of the existence of a “secret file.”

The club said the case of the assassination of Sheikh Khader Adnan, after his strike, which lasted for (86) days, constituted a turning point in the history of the hunger strike, through the tools and role exercised by the enemy courts, specifically in the context of the demands that were made to transfer him to a civilian hospital.
