HAJJAH September 24. 2023 (Saba)- Hajjah Governorate was painted green with joy and rejoicing on the anniversary of the birth of the Chosen One, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, in the year 1445.
Preparations are continuing in the governorate's directorates to commemorate the birth of Mercy, in an unprecedented movement to rejoice in this great religious occasion.
The official and societal components in the governorate launched arrangements to celebrate the Prophet’s birthday, overcoming all the difficulties caused by the aggression and siege.
Hajjah Governorate is unique from other governorates in reviving Mohammedan activities with an unparalleled specificity due to the diversity it enjoys in the Tihami terrain, which differs from the mountainous areas.
The people of Hajjah Governorate consider the anniversary of the birth of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, as a station of faith that embodies the love and connection of the descendants of the Ansar with good example.
The streets, minarets, schools, government and private facilities, and neighborhoods in the governorate centers and districts were decorated with green colors as the significant event approached on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal.
In this regard, the Governor of Hajjah, Hilal Al-Sufi, indicated that work is underway to complete preparations to commemorate the Prophet’s birthday with great effectiveness and a Mohammedan wedding befitting the position of the master of humanity, Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace.
He explained that there are committees in the directorates to arrange ceremonial events and others to mobilize for the central event and prepare for the convoy of the Great Prophet.
The Sufi Governor pointed out the importance of celebrating this religious occasion to emphasize the Yemeni people’s adherence to the final Prophet.
Nearly nine years of aggression against Yemen on land and people did not deter the people of Hajjah from celebrating this solemn religious occasion.
The circle of celebration of this anniversary expands to include celebratory activities on this occasion, including public and private schools, mosques, and branches of agencies and institutions.
There are various aspects of celebrating the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday, in line with the importance of this religious occasion and its place in the hearts of Yemenis.
Yemeni Women feel their responsibility to play their role in celebrating the birth of the Noble Messenger, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, and consolidate faith identity and Quranic culture.
Women's participation has expanded remarkably in reviving Mohammedan activities, events, seminars, decorating works, and distributing sweets, whether on the official or popular side, or through local bodies and institutions.
