SANA'A August 19. 2023 (Saba)-Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs - Head of the Executive Office of the Vision Department, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, stressed the importance of improving the quality of academic and educational performance in the Ministry of Higher Education and its affiliated institutions to ensure obtaining quality outputs that keep pace with the requirements of the labor market.
Al-Junaid indicated in a meeting held in Sana'a today,Saturday, which included the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Hussein Hazeb, his deputy, Dr. Ali Sharaf Al-Din, the Undersecretary, Dr. Ghaleb Al-Qans, and the Chairman of the Academic Accreditation Council, Dr. Ahmed Al-Haboub, to the importance of understanding the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the President of the Supreme Political Council aimed at making the year 1445 AH a year of education. Develop plans and visions commensurate with the available capabilities and improve performance levels.
Al-Junaid explained that the field visit comes within the directives of the RevolutionLeader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, the President of the Supreme Political Council and the Head of the Salvation Government, to see the progress of official working hours, mobilize the determination ,efforts of state employees, and carry out their duties to the fullest.
The Deputy Prime Minister touched on the importance of reviewing reports analyzing the institutional situation of the entities in terms of laws, strategy, organizational structures, internal procedures, financial and administrative operations, and their human resources, providing electronic systems, and raising the percentage of projects completion and plans aimed at improving institutional performance and improving the periodic follow-up and evaluation mechanism.
In turn, the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Ghaleb Al-Qans, the Assistant Undersecretary for the Planning Sector - Head of the Executive Unit of the National Vision in the Ministry, Dr. Ilham Al-Sanabani, the Chairman of the Academic Accreditation Council, Dr. Al-Haboub, and the Head of the Information Technology Center, Dr. Fouad Abdel-Razzaq, reviewed the achievements made within the framework of the national vision projects approved by the Ministry, its institutions, ,the difficulties they face and ways processed.
