SANA'A Aug. 15. 2023 (Saba) - Sana'a province local council and Rand Corporation for Engineering and General construction on Tuesday signed a contract to build Sana'a general complex at an estimated cost of 3.3 Billion YER.
The contract stipulates that the Corporation shall implement and maintain the project in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, the table of quantities, general and special conditions, and the requirements specified in the tender approved documents.
The contract consists of a main building consisting of eight floors in addition to the basement, with an area of 13,900 square meters and a surface plan of 6,270 square meters, a meeting hall and metal facilities with an area of 675 square meters + a concrete parking basement of the same area.
The contract includes the construction of a 360-meter-long fence and extensions of two floors, security and guard rooms + public services rooms + the main gate, information networking systems for Sana’a governorate, operations rooms for informational connection with private communications cabins, fire systems with all their components, generators, ground tanks, feeding and pumping rooms.
