Ibb - Saba:
Director General of the Traffic Police Major General Dr. Bakil al-Barashi, accompanied by Assistant Commander of the Ibb Axis Brigadier General Majid al-Ayani, and Director of Ibb Traffic Colonel Mohammed Atef, on Wednesday inspected the designated locations of the traffic police service centers on Ibb-al-Jarahi-Hodeida road.
Al-Barashi emphasized that the visit to Ibb Rural District Directorate comes in light of the Traffic Police's development plan, particularly following the successes achieved by the traffic police service centers on the long routes linking the capital, Sana'a, to the rest of the governorates.
He pointed out that the proposed centers were identified according to agreed-upon criteria, particularly since Ibb-al-Jarahi road is a major artery linking the central governorates to Hodeida and witnesses heavy traffic, especially for trucks.
Al-Barashi pointed out that the traffic police stations along this route will contribute to providing humanitarian services to road users, enhancing traffic safety, reducing traffic accidents, and protecting lives and property.
For his part, the Assistant Commander of Ibb Axis praised the efforts and progress made by the traffic police to enhance road safety and protect citizens' property.
