MOSCOW July 09. 2023 (SABA) - Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned on Sunday against targeting Kiev's nuclear plant.
According to Novosti, this is a comment on Ukrainian Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Maliar's admission that the Kiev regime targeted Crimea Bridge last year.
Zakharova called the Kiev regime a terrorist.. That regime was now systematically trying to damage Zaporoje's nuclear plant.
She added: "The NATO Summit should have paid close attention to this issue, and if the Zaporoje station was damaged," the vast majority of NATO members would be in the area of direct destruction. "
Earlier on Sunday, Ukraine's Deputy Defence Minister Anna Malyar announced the adoption by the Kiev authorities of the autumn 2022 bombing of Crimea Bridge to "disrupt the logistics of Russians."
It should be noted that a truck exploded on Crimea Bridge on the morning of October 8th, setting fire to seven cargo train vehicles crossing the bridge, which partially collapsed.
The bridge ceased to operate for a short period before it was restored and traffic between Crimea and the rest of Russia resumed.
It is worth mentioning that the Zaporizhia plant is located near the city of Enerhodar on the east bank of the Dnieber River, Europe's largest hydrothermal power plant in terms of the number of reactors and the energy it generates, It contains six gigawatt-card reactors each, and in October 2022 it became the property of the Russian government by a decree issued by President Vladimir Putin following the Zaporizhia province's accession to Russia.
