July 09. 2023 (Saba) - US President Joe Biden on Sunday accused his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping of seeking to remove the United States from its leading position in the world.
Russia Today website quoted Biden in an interview with CNN as saying “I think there is a way to solve difficulties between the two countries and build a relationship with China that benefits both countries.”
Biden expressed confidence that Chinese President Xi Jinping is seeking to remove the United States from its position as the leading military and economic power in the world.
"I'm sure he wants the largest economy in the world and the largest military capabilities," Biden said.
Biden also added that he does not see on the part of China a desire for war or conflict with the United States, or ambitions to expand its lands.
