GAZA June 25. 2023 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) affirmed that the battle with the Zionist enemy continues in all arenas until the liberation of the land and the prisoners, stressing that it will remain loyal to the heroic prisoners, and that their liberation from enemy prisons is a top priority.
The Palestinian Shehab News Agency quoted Hamas in a press statement on the 17th anniversary of Operation Dispelled Illusion, as saying "The resistance that excelled in accomplishing the loyalty of the free men in 2011 is today closer to imposing a new loyalty equation in which the illusions of the occupation and the leaders of its fascist government are dispelled." .
It added "Our people evoke on this day, June 25, with all senses of pride, the heroic act in which a joint force of the Palestinian resistance, headed by the victorious Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, was able to capture the Zionist soldier Gilad Shalit from his tank in the heart of the city of Karm Abu Salem military site in the south of the Gaza Strip, and keeping him for five full years, in a historic achievement that culminated in a deal of loyalty to our free prisoners, and the liberation of 1027 prisoners from enemy prisons.
It continued "Our valiant resistance, in which subsequent stations and successive victories in the "Sword of al-Quds" and "Revenge of the Free", dispelled the illusions of the Zionist enemy and its leaders in undermining the steadfastness and resistance of the Palestinian people, and established the equations of conflict with it, the most prominent title of which is that prejudice to al-Quds, the prisoners will not pass without a harsh response or strategic deterrence, and that defending them by all means is on the path of liberation, return, and the end of the occupation.
The movement warned the Zionist enemy entity of the repercussions of its war and its continuous aggression against the prisoners in its prisons.
It called for more unity and cohesion in the face of the enemy's plans and brutal aggression, and called on the Islamic nation to continue its solidarity and support for the struggle of the Palestinian people and the just cause of its prisoners.
Hamas stressed the need for all human rights and humanitarian institutions to move in order to put pressure on the Zionist enemy to stop its aggression against the prisoners and to release sick children and women in its prisons.
