DAMASCUS May 29. 2023 (Saba) - Last night, the Syrian Army's air defences responded to a Zionist aggression targeting with rockets the vicinity of Damascus and shooting down some of the aggression missiles.
Syrian news agency SANA quoted a military source in a statement as saying: "At approximately 23.45 p.m., 28-5-2023, the Israeli enemy carried out aerial aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the Damascus area. Our air defence media tackled the aggression missiles and dropped some of them. The losses were limited to the material."
In early May, Syrian air defences responded to a Zionist aggression targeting the perimeter of Aleppo International Airport and As-Safira town in the southern countryside of Aleppo.
