BEIRUT April 20. 2023 (Saba) - Deputy Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Sheikh Naim Qassem considered that what happened in the Iranian-Saudi agreement changed the direction in the region as the direction was that Iran is the enemy, and the Zionist entity wants to meet with some Arabs in order to confront it.
Al-Manar website quoted Sheikh Qassem, in a speech he gave during Iftar of the Imdad Charity Association in Beirut as saying the Saudi-Iranian agreement was a bold and courageous decision.
He added, "We see the region heading towards settlements, stability, and a political solution, and on top of what happened in the region is the Saudi-Iranian agreement. This agreement was almost impossible in the eyes of many due to the complexities between the two countries, but it happened because there was a bold and courageous decision by both Iran and Saudi Arabia because they wanted Cooperation with each other and they want to direct the compass towards political stability for the benefit of their countries and the interest of the region at the same time.
He pointed out that the enemy entity suffers from internal difficulties and from weakness at a stage in which we find the axis of resistance advancing with achievements and victories and the beginning of solutions in Yemen, Syria and other regions, in addition to the increase in the Palestinian strength, in addition to that all the achievements achieved by the axis of resistance, all of this will be in the interest of moving forward and in the interest of achieving achievements against the Zionist failure.
