SANA'A March 26. 2023 (Saba) - Capital Sana'a witnessed on Sunday a major mass march in Bab al-Yemen Square on the occasion of the National Day of Steadfastness and the inauguration of the ninth year of steadfastness in the face of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression.
The mass crowds at the rally chanted slogans, "We are coming in the ninth year with drones, deadly missiles, and an organized and strong army and by relying on God, we will defeat all invaders."
The masses affirmed their high readiness for any upcoming confrontation with the aggression until achieving victory and defeating the invaders and occupiers and continuing to stand firm and steadfast and supply the fronts with convoys of men and ordnance.
The crowds raised slogans to proceed with unyielding determination in the ninth year of steadfastness in the face of aggression and to make more sacrifices until the liberation of every inch of the land of Yemen.
Participants renewed the stance of the Yemeni people towards the Palestinian cause and the support and advocacy of the Palestinian people against the arrogance of the usurping and occupying Zionist entity.
Supreme Political Council member Mohammad al-Houthi confirmed that the Yemeni people faced the countries of aggression with their arrogance at a time when they thought that their battle in Yemen would be a picnic.
"We say to the leader of the revolution, bet on a people who do not fear or sympathize, and do not see fighting enemies as anything but an art of chivalry," stressing the readiness of the Yemeni people to make any choice determined by the leader of the revolution," al-Houthi said.
He added the enemy is trying to evade its aggression against Yemen, as Saudi Arabia considers its aggression against the Yemeni people as internal problems, and America also wants to move away and send a peace representative and others who withdrew from the coalition, and so each of them abandons and disavows."
Al-Houthi said the aggression coalition hastened and disavowed today, the aggression coalition committed massacres and crimes that it cannot justify or deny where channels of the world broadcast it.
He went on saying "No matter what crimes and arrogance the aggression coalition committed, this only increases our insistence on confrontation and that you are enemies of our people."
He said "They say that we are in Yemen fighting on behalf of Iran. We will never claim that we fought for Iran, and we did not say so. We said from the first day, Iran is a neighbor of the countries of aggression, and yet they understood in these moments and this last month that Iran is a neighbor." They have it, and it is only a few kilometers away from them, and they went for peace and dialogue with it, and this is a positive thing for all neighbors to dialogue."
Al-Houthi indicated that the Yemeni people today have developed their military capabilities and moved forward which embodies a form of steadfastness in the face of aggression and what we are seeing in various arenas is a manifestation of steadfastness.
He affirmed that Yemen's keenness to deal with everyone on the basis of Islamic brotherhood, adding "We do not disdain or be arrogant. The Yemeni people, whom you described as poor, stood before you and you were unable to defeat them, reviewing some images of the Saudi regime's criminality against the Yemeni people.
Al-Houthi addressed the Saudi regime by saying, "If you want to withdraw from the aggression against Yemen, that is available, announce your withdrawal from fighting our people, as Qatar, Morocco and several countries withdrew from the coalition."
He pointed out that the aggression coalition cannot speak, back down, or say that it is not involved in the aggression against the Yemeni people.
He pointed out, "One of the most prominent manifestations of steadfastness is the cohesion of the state with its various institutions, despite the fact that the aggression coalition cut salaries and transferred the functions of the Central Bank to Aden, despite the pledge before the United Nations to spend them, and although we said and will always say return all revenues to the Central Bank of Yemen and we will spend it to all employees of the Republic of Yemen, including the employees who stand with the enemy."
He added "What you say about respect for international law, there is nothing we demanded that contradicts international law. We did not demand anything that goes beyond the general concept of the sovereignty of the Yemeni state."
He continued "The years of aggression and siege and all the announced and unannounced talks have proven to the whole world that we defend the sovereignty of our country and that our decision is independent and we do not follow any country in the world, and the Republic of Yemen will remain proud thanks to this legendary steadfastness."

Al-Houthi added, "We say to the United Nations that you have legitimized the suspension of salaries, the blockade and the suspension of aid, on the Yemeni people who have not seen you after eight years of siege, and have reached the brink of famine. The United Nations has described that Yemen is experiencing the worst humanitarian crisis, even denunciation and condemnation."
He reaffirmed that America is leading the aggression against Yemen, which is known to everyone, and its envoy for peace is a cover for its crimes, indicating that America is the one who declared that the crimes and massacres of aggression can only occur after monitoring and sending the coordinates to the aggression black box.
He also addressed the Yemeni people by saying, "You, the free people of Yemen, have the right to be proud that you faced 17 steadfast countries and they were unable to defeat you. Rather, today the Saudi enemy is the one looking for peace and the countries of aggression have become the ones calling for the armistice that the leader of the revolution always talks about."
He indicated that the leader of the revolution always stresses that the armistice can only continue in return for the humanitarian file, by lifting the siege, handing over salaries, stopping the aggression, and lifting the air embargo, which is one of the things we demand, and this is not considered a miracle.
