OCCUPIED AL-QUDS March 06. 2023 (Saba) - Palestinian warnings escalated from the danger of a Zionist plan to impose temporal and spatial division in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the unannounced plan to establish a Jewish synagogue in the eastern part of the Haram al-Sharif.
The (Ma’an) news agency quoted Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, advisor to the Presidential Court for Al-Quds Affairs, in a statement on Monday saying: “Everything that is happening in Al-Aqsa and the accompanying Zionist statements indicates a plan that will be imposed on the ground in the mosque, whose title is imposing spatial division similar to what happened in the Ibrahimi Mosque in Al-Khalil.
Al-Ruwaidi warned that these racist statements against Al-Aqsa, including the blatant statements of the extremist bin Gvir to interfere in the management of the mosque and impose its closure, pave the way for extremist settlers to carry out a massacre, followed by the imposition of what they call the "fait accompli" that Zionist politicians are talking about, exceeding the legal historical status quo in Al-Aqsa.
Al-Ruwaidi stated that the enemy authorities alone bear responsibility for the escalation and explosion of the situation in occupied Jerusalem and the region, by continuing their aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing the position of the Palestinian leadership and its adherence to the need to compel the occupation to respect the existing legal and historical status in Al-Aqsa.
