SANA'A December 06. 2022 (Saba) - The Sphere Training Program for Humanitarian Relief was concluded on Tuesday at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, organized by the Center for Youth and Sports Leadership Preparation.
For 35-day program provided 24 male and female trainees with skills and knowledge about emergency humanitarian response, basic standards of quality, the humanitarian Charter, protection of human dignity, how to shelter the displaced and affected people in safe camps, food and water supply, environmental sanitation and hygiene promotion through a practical application in al-Khamis camp in Bani al-Harith district.
Minister of Youth Mohammed al-Moaydi stressed the importance of voluntary work and the need for young people to be keen to take the initiative and carry out such sublime humanitarian actions, which the true Islamic religion urged and to promote the values of cooperation, compassion, relief for the distressed, and assistance to the needy.
Al-Moaydi stressed the need to apply the contents and outputs of the program in the reality of work, evaluate it, and promote such programs that contribute to the public interest.
