Revolution Leader: Continuing to defend Yemen and defeating occupation are among main goals of September 21 revolution
[21/September/2022]

SANA'A, Sep. 20 (Saba) - Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi on Tuesday stressed that continuing to defend Yemen, defeating the occupation, and preserving the Yemeni people’s identity and affiliation are among the main goals of the September 21 Revolution.

In his speech on the occasion of the 8th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution, the Leader of the Revolution renewed the call for the aggression coalition to stop the aggression, end the siege and occupation and address the files of war.. He stressed that “the continuation of the aggression is the biggest threat to regional and international peace and security, and the damage would not be limited to Yemen only.”

The Leader of the Revolution referred to the historic victory and the great achievement achieved by the Yemeni people on September 21 within the framework of their blessed revolution, which saved their future from loss and deterioration in the abyss.. He extended his congratulations and blessings to the Yemeni people on this occasion.

Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi pointed out that the September 21 anniversary is an important occasion with the importance of its great achievement and its role in the present and future of the Yemeni people. “It was and still is a necessity in every sense of the word, given the religious, moral, humanitarian and national considerations and the real interest of the people. It is from the reality of suffering, grievance and real dangers that targeted our people in their independence and freedom, and in light of a reality in which hostile policies have prevailed, heading our country towards total collapse, as a result of the hostile American policies and under the American guardianship, and as a result of the depend politics of the power at that time.”

The Leader of the Revolution explained that it is important on this occasion to recall, remember, study and evaluate the pre-September 21 revolution to know the importance of the movement of the Yemeni people within the framework of their popular revolution to realize what the situation of the country would have reached had it not been for the care of Allah and the movement of the people.

He added, "When we remember all those stages, we know what happened after 2011, when there was an external intervention to contain what was happening in the country, and control it, exploit it and employ it for strengthening foreign control over the country and serving the hostile policies of the outside in the first place, the Americans and their allies."

The Leader of the Revolution pointed out that the Americans acted according to their policies that depend on holding the strings of the game, investing in crises, employing conflicts, and exploiting differences to serve their interests and achieve their agendas.

He stated that the initiative was under the direct supervision of the American ambassador, and through it they focused on linking the internal situation and affairs with them, indicating that the major catastrophe occurred by placing Yemen under Chapter VII and the US tutelage officially and publicly.

Sayyed Abdulmalik pointed out that the tutelage of the ten countries over Yemen was primarily an American, as the American ambassador in Sana'a was the first concerned with Yemen's affairs and the head of the Yemeni president and the decision-maker. He referred that the American ambassador was discussing with the ambassadors of the ten countries the affairs of the country and meeting with officials at various levels, directing them, giving them commands, imposing policies and agendas, and defining positions.

The Leader of the Revolution stressed that the Americans sought to confiscate the independence and freedom of the Yemeni people and to indirectly control and occupy the country, without battle or war, and they worked according to destructive policies that would automatically bring the country to a state of collapse.

He stated that at the general level, the American plan was working to dismantle Yemen from the inside by raising the level of political and regional division and disparity in an upward manner, and feeding divisions under different headings and using multiple methods, so that the Yemeni people would lose their collective identity and basic ties.

Sayyed Abdulmalik pointed out that Yemen had reached a state of complete insecurity, whether for citizens or employees, and even for members of the security services, and assassinations and bombings escalated, and Takfiris spread in most governorates, and their camps became on the outskirts of the capital, as well as bandits, looting of travelers and chaos in general before the September 21 revolution.

He noted the economic situation before the revolution, which was heading towards collapse and starvation under an authority subject to American tutelage, although there no justification for those economic crises at that time, as the authority was supported by those of foreign countries, including financial gifts, donations, cooperation, and loans, and was benefiting from oil wealth and customs revenues from all the country's sea, air and land ports.

Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi affirmed that the economic crisis before the revolution was as a result of the state's policies at that time, and not as a result of conditions of siege or war.

He underlined that the Americans sought under the title of restructuring the army to control it, strip it of its capabilities, spoil its combat doctrine and destroy the capabilities of the air defense and air forces, pointing out that the army's missile and naval forces were targeted as part of the American effort to strike Yemen's capabilities and not take advantage of them in confronting external aggressions.

He said, "The American was strengthening his control over the situation further and imposing military bases for him in the country, even in the center of the capital, Sana'a, where he turned his embassy as a headquarters to manage all his sabotage activities in the country, and the American and his allies became comfortable with that situation."

He added that the role played by the US ambassador represents a clear violation of the country's sovereignty and independence.

The Leader of the Revolution indicated that in light of these hostile policies and the failure to put an end to them, the country would automatically reach collapse, chaos and disintegration, worse than what happened in some countries, and this was met with a response from some political components and parties, except for the free ones.

Revolution Features:

Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi confirmed that the popular revolution was necessary in light of that reality, as it surprised the Americans and their allies and confused them with all that characterized the movement of the Yemeni people in those circumstances of strength, wisdom and morals at a time when they had been assured that the situation was under control.

He pointed out that the movement of the September 21 revolution came as a surprise to the Americans and those with them, and expressed the people of all their components in all governorates.

The Leader of the Revolution stated that the September 21 revolution was a real popular revolution that did not move by external dictates and was not affected by media propaganda, indicating that the revolutionary demands were pure, honest and just and did not include any sectarian or ethnic discourse or hostile to any social component or region in the country.

He indicated that the speech of the revolution was a noble and sound one, free from all the impurities that are included in the speeches of others, and it also expressed the pride of this people who refuse to submit to the Americans, and insist on achieving freedom in its true and right sense. He pointed out that the performance of the revolution provided one of the most important testimonies of the "Yemeni wisdom".

Sayyed Abdulmalik explained that the performance in the September 21 revolution was successful and in coordination between the free people of the country, the army and the security, and the capital was secured in an elegant manner and everything related to the people from shops and markets, and there was no settling of accounts with any political parties.

He stated that this popular movement was characterized by the revolutionary contribution of all spectrums of this people and by self-financing without any external interference, and there was awareness of continuity until reaching the great result.

The Leader of the Revolution pointed to the distinguished, strong and decisive role of the Yemeni tribes and their free sons who rose and moved with their weight, potential and giving, and their role was great and presented the true picture of the real value of Yemeni tribalism, which contributed to returning things to their right direction.

He said, "After the victory on September 21, the revolution presented the finest model of tolerance and understanding, and did not tend to settle scores, and opened the opportunity and space for all parties and components for partnership," pointing out that the political agreement after the revolution was peace and partnership and this was its content, but the parties associated with the American ambassador turned against the agreement.

The Leader of the Revolution explained that the parties subject to the outside tended to stir up chaos, so the revolution was on the lookout for them, and when the Americans despaired of sedition, they turned to direct aggression. He emphasized that the active revolutionary presence prevented a return to the systematic policies that aimed at the return of American control.

Sayyed Abdulmalik pointed out that the aggression announced from Washington revealed the truth of those who wanted to continue their guardianship over this country, and what had happened and is happening since its inception is a true and great witness to the reality of their hostile policy against this country in general.

He stated that the aggression, since its beginning, continued with great brutality and committed the most heinous crimes against the people of Yemen everywhere, to show the truth of the hostile attitudes of the Americans and their allies towards the Yemeni people and their treatment of this people as enemies, which led to the martyrdom of thousands in cities, markets, villages, mosques, schools and funerals and weddings by American bombs and planes.

“The aggression coalition targeted government facilities and service facilities, which shows the American tendencies to destroy everything in Yemen, and destroyed the infrastructure and targeted even courts, prisons, cemeteries, schools and others, and the aggression coalition sought to harass people even in their livelihood through severe siege and economic conspiracies,” he said.

Sayyed Abdulmalik stressed that the practices of the aggression coalition in the occupied territories are practices of occupation, and now they establish military bases and control the official decision there, and even the so-called "presidential council" was chosen by the Americans and Saudis.

He pointed out that the intervention of the aggression coalition reached even in the formation of the government in the occupied areas and the placement of ministers as they want, indicating that what the aggression coalition is doing in the occupied areas is an extension of their policies before the September 21 revolution.

Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi stressed that if the aggression coalition had controlled the rest of the country and the areas of human weight, they would have done worse than what they did in the occupied areas. He indicated that the aggression coalition had failed to reach its goals in controlling the country and the people, despite the enormous scale of the aggression.

"May Allah grant our people steadfastness and cohesion in the face of aggression and achieving many victories," he said.

Revolution Achievements:

The Leader of the Revolution explained that the first achievement of the September 21 revolution was to defend the people's faith identity, as they wanted it to remain without identity and values to control it, indicating that the free Yemeni people live the blessing of freedom in areas that the aggression coalition failed to control.

He pointed out that one of the revolution's achievements is the strengthening of ties between the people of the country, and work is continuing to strengthen these ties, as well as preserving state institutions and their cohesion, while others are working to push them towards collapse.

He noted that one of the most important achievements of the revolution is the achievement of security and stability in the free provinces at a good level, and this is a tangible thing and cannot be compared with the situation in the occupied provinces where chaos prevails, indicating that there is a program to develop the security services and improve their performance continuously.

The Leader of the Revolution stated that work is ongoing to maintain civil peace and social stability, in contrast to the policies of others who always tend to provoke divisions among the members of society.

He pointed out that one of the revolution's achievements is the work to rebuild the army and security on the basis of a correct combative doctrine, indicating that there is diligent work to build the army on sound foundations to serve the people and defend the homeland and not be dependent on the outside, and there is work to rebuild the security services unlike others who seek to control the security services to strike the people.

Sayyed Abdulmalik mentioned that one of the most important achievements of the revolution is the military industrialization of which the Yemeni people are proud, and it is not an ordinary achievement, but rather a great and major achievement, indicating that the manufacturing takes place from pistols, Kalashnikovs and cannons to drones and ballistic missiles of various ranges, and all this took place in light of the current situation with all its difficulties under the aggression and suffocating siege, and the work began from scratch.

"Our country manufactures everything from infantry weapons to medium weapons to advanced and long-range weapons," he said, stressing that the future of industrialization at the military and civil levels in Yemen is promising, as Yemen is manufacturing what many countries are unable to manufacture.

The Leader of the Revolution mentioned that among the achievements is the work to restore the spirit of cooperation between the people of the country and activate the role of zakat and endowments in accordance with the instructions of Islam, and to restore the spirit of solidarity that is manifested in convoys and attention to the needy, in addition to activating the role of zakat in its legitimate fields.

He pointed out that one of the most important achievements of the revolution is preserving the people’s orientation and their principled positions towards the nation’s issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, indicating that the American and British and those with them are seeking to bring about a major change in the region towards openly loyalty to Israel and liquidate the Palestinian cause and direct the state of hostility towards the free people of the nation who are facing Israel and American conspiracies.

Sayyed Abdulmalik stressed that America's tools in Yemen are heading towards normalization without any embarrassment, so the revolution had an important role in maintaining the original position against normalization through cooperation and solidarity with the Palestinian people and continuing to go in a brotherly spirit with the free people of the nation within the framework of the comprehensive position.

Present and future entitlements:

The Leader of the Revolution emphasized that continuing to defend the independence of the country, defeating the occupation, and preserving the identity and belonging of the people is a great responsibility and is one of the main goals of the popular revolution and a major priority that is being worked on.

He pointed out that one of the important entitlements in the present and the future of this revolution is to work to correct the status of state institutions and purify them of traitors, agents, tamperers, corrupt, exploiters and opportunists, and to benefit from the Charter of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, to Malik Al-Ashtar in formulating the code of conduct, controls, values and ethics to bring state institutions to the required level to perform their tasks in serving the people in various fields.

"Among the great entitlements is the continuous orientation and the relentless pursuit to achieve an economic renaissance in the field of agriculture and local production leading to self-sufficiency, as well as the continuation of work to consolidate social stability because there is an effort on the part of the enemies to stir up strife among the people of the country and exploit any social problems and turn them into conflicts and disputes," he explained.

He pointed out that one of the main tasks is to consolidate social stability and civil peace and to strengthen fraternal ties between the people of the country to confront all schemes of sedition and chaos.

Challenges:

The Leader of the Revolution indicated that there are some challenges that represent an obstacle at the level of achievement or at the level of achievement of some priorities, and they are challenges that must be addressed and confronted, and among these challenges is the extent of the aggression against this country. He indicated that the aggression is still ongoing and the war is not over yet. “They did not lift their siege and did not end their aggression, and we are only in a temporary truce.”

He pointed out that one of the most important challenges that cannot be ignored is the occupation of large areas of the country by the aggression coalition, in addition to the comprehensive siege that everyone suffers from, which represents one of the challenges facing the revolution because it affects some priorities in terms of limited capabilities. He explained that the aggression coalition’s looting of oil revenues and others impede the provision of services and necessary care for the people.

He stated that among the challenges is the legacy of past problems, whether in the state institutions or the human structure in them. He stressed that correcting the reality of state institutions cannot happen in the blink of an eye, but rather it takes some time, and there are slowdowns and shortcomings, and there are some obstacles.

The Leader of the Revolution made it clear that there is neither complete neglect nor concern as well in the state institutions, and this is the fair description of the issue.

He pointed out that there are problems in the functional structure that requires effort and work, and that at the popular level, there are many problems and complications, in addition to the failed planning at the level of cities and neighborhoods, and the policies of the past that left their impact on the present.

The Leader of the Revolution stated that among the obstacles is the emergence of the personal ambitions and desires of some at the expense of major goals, and this requires changes, accurate evaluation and real characterization. He explained that some, even those who contributed to the revolution, forget at certain stages the major and sacred goals of this revolution.

He pointed out that the one who contributed to the revolution must be loyal to it and not go to count personal interests in return for what he offered, indicating that some people seek to employ their relatives and friends regardless of qualifications and competence, and this is a problem that requires high awareness.

Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi stressed the importance of addressing all problems and challenges and turning them into opportunities for correct construction and avoiding mistakes, pointing out that the current situation in the state institutions is not the typical level and the steps that have been achieved are limited.

He mentioned that “the limited achievement in correcting the status of the state is due to our focus, practically and mentally, on the priority of confronting the aggression, but we did not lose sight of this matter, and there is still a large program to correct the situation of state institutions and it requires great effort and cooperation of those concerned.”

He added that the officials in the free areas are the product of a national will, and they come to positions of responsibility by a national decision of the Supreme Political Council, noting that, however, the situation in the free provinces is very much better and is not compared to the situation of traitors.

The Leader of the Revolution stressed that despite the scarcity of capabilities and the siege, there are existing services in the country, which is a situation that exists at a certain level, even if there is a shortage.. He pointed out that one of the positives is the belief in the necessity of correction, construction and treatment within the framework of the popular revolution and the stance against aggression, and everyone understands and acknowledges the issue of correcting this situation and building towards the better and solving problems.

He explained that the negative action does not reflect the general orientation of the revolution and the people and the general orientation in the country, and when criticism comes, it must be constructive and that the observations be with advice and credibility away from incitement because this does not serve the country and the people.

He said, "The right thing is to work together, all the free and honest, and they are many, and they are the ones who play the great role in confronting the aggression and have played a major role in the framework of the popular revolution." He pointed to the importance of striving to achieve the major entitlements with rationality, awareness and wisdom in confronting the aggression and achieving complete independence and ending the siege and this is everyone’s responsibility and a major priority.

The Leader of the Revolution stressed the importance of working within the basic goals of the revolution and the major priorities by continuing to work and a high sense of responsibility, wisdom, rationality, patience, and seeking help from Allah Almighty with high awareness of the enemies’ plans, the most dangerous of which are division and sedition, dismantling the internal situation, and striking the home front.

He stressed the importance of verifying rumors and propaganda, because some are quick to accept propaganda and rumors and quickly interact with them before they are proven and found.

Sayyed Abdulmalik also stressed the importance of continuing to work in confronting the aggression and its catastrophic destructive plots aimed at controlling our people and occupying our country.

Warning to the aggression coalition:

The Leader of the Revolution renewed the call for the aggression coalition to stop the aggression, end the siege and occupation, address the war files and take the lesson from eight years.

He stressed that the continuation of the aggression is the biggest threat to regional and international peace and security, and it is not only harmful to Yemen, but also threatens the regional and international situation, and everyone should be aware of this.

"There is no justification for insisting on continuing the aggression, but that its continuation will cause disasters, problems, great losses and more failures and failures for the aggression coalition countries," he said.

The Leader of the Revolution also reiterated Yemen's firm principle towards the Palestinian cause and the issues of the Islamic nation.

At the conclusion of his speech, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi warned the aggression coalition against continuing to plunder the national wealth in the country, and also warned any foreign companies against colluding with it in this, in light of the siege and starvation of the Yemeni people and the theft of oil and gas financial revenues instead of disbursing them for salaries and humanitarian and service benefits.
