SANA'A, May. 31 (Saba) - Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi said the intentions of the aggression forces at the military and humanitarian levels have revealed their conspiratorial threads by fighting all peace steps and initiatives calling for an end to the war of aggression against Yemen.
The Defense Minister said in a statement to Saba that the Yemeni armed forces are committed to the directives of the revolution leader, Sayyed. Abdul Malik Badreddine al-Houthi, with endurance, patience and firmness on the stated position.
"We had hoped that the UN truce would be the beginning to end the aggression, siege and foundation of steps based on trust and sense of responsibility, but through reality on the ground we found that the aggressor invaders did not abide by the terms of the truce, which shows that we are in front of an enemy that does not believe in the language of peace, its criminal approach and its deep hatred against our people, which is controlled in all its behaviors," he said.
Al-Atifi brigade pointed out that the aggression is using the truce to arrange the ranks of its tools and pass its hostile plans and scenarios that are taking place today under various names, including the so-called Presidential Command Council, which is the last paper for them in preparing for an upcoming battle and pushing his tools to ignite conflict and internal wars in the belief that they will be spared from its consequences.
"We tell the countries of aggression that what they wish will not be achieved and they will be the first target and that the next one is more painful than before," he said.
The Ministry of Defense command and the chief of staff of various levels of leadership, bodies and areas have prepared the required equipment for qualitative military construction, modernization and development of integrated industrial and tactical military means and methods, he said.
"We are fully prepared and ready to fight any emergency, present for all military options and able to wrest our rights to peace or war," he said.
The Defense Minister praised the steadfastness of the heroes of the army, the people's committees and the free tribesmen in the confront of enemies.
