SANA'A, Jan. 30 (Saba) - Executive Director of the Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) Ammar al-Adhrue'e has met with Representative and Country Director of the World Food Programme in Yemen Laurent Bukera.
Al-Adhrue'e and Bukera discussed on Thursday the humanitarian conditions experienced by the Yemeni people as a result of the continued detention of oil derivative ships by the aggression coalition countries.
Al-Adhrue'e indicated that the continued detention of oil ships hinders the transportation and delivery of medicines and food to citizens.
The aggression's continuous piracy of fuel ships will lead to a humanitarian disaster, where many vital sectors of service will stop providing their services to citizens.
The YPC executive director pointed out that hundreds of premature newborns in nurseries are at risk as a result of the suspension of supplying oxygen, as well as thousands of dialysis patients.
On his part, Bukera affirmed that he will make every effort release of the oil ships, expressing his willingness to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
