SANA'A, Jan.26 (Saba) - The UN Secretary General Assistant and Administrator of the United Nations Development Prgoramme (UNDP) Helen Clark left here on Wednesday after a several-day visit to the country.
Clark described her visit as fruitful, indicating that she held talks with a number of officials on the horizons of joint cooperation between Yemen and UN and ways of boosting the cooperation in all domains.
During the visit, the new UN Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) 2012 - 2015 for Yemen with over $359 million was signed including inclusive and diversified economic growth, sustainable and equitable access to quality basic social services, women and youth empowerment and good governance and social cohesion, she said.
