Bayda - Saba:
The districts of the central area in Al-Bayda Governorate organized on Sunday a commemorative event marking the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
During the event, Al-Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris described the commemoration as a spiritual occasion to draw from the wellspring of noble values, ethics, and great principles, noting that the Prophet guided the Ummah to the right path and rejected submission to anyone other than Allah.
He pointed out that celebrating the Prophet’s birth amid the current challenges facing the Islamic nation—especially repeated offenses against its symbols and sanctities—serves as a practical response affirming the revered place of the Holy Qur’an and the greatness of the Messenger in the hearts of believers.
Governor Idris highlighted the deep bond between the Yemeni people and the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family, affirming that the commemoration reflects the high regard the Prophet held for Yemenis. He stressed the importance of mobilizing for the grand central event to be held in Al-Sawadiyah District, to send a clear message to adversaries of the Yemeni people’s adherence to the Prophet’s path and steadfastness in confronting the enemies of the Ummah.
The event, attended by Deputy Governors Ali Sheikh, Mohammed Al-Humaikani, and Nasser Al-Wahbi, as well as district directors, mobilization officials, and security leaders from Al-Sawadiyah, Al-Malahim, Rada’a, Na’man, Al-Wahabiya, Al-Tuffah, and Nati’, featured remarks by Yemeni Scholars Association member Mohammed Al-Saqqaf. He praised the operations of the Armed Forces, supported by the Yemeni people under the leadership of Revolutionary Leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, which have extended to supporting the oppressed Palestinian people.
Al-Saqqaf emphasized that celebrating this religious occasion helps to strengthen the values, principles, and morals of the Prophet Muhammad—peace be upon him—as a teacher and an inspiration who led the Ummah from darkness to light and from tyranny to justice and truth. He considered the commemoration an opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet’s life, renew allegiance to Allah , His Messenger, promote solidarity, compassion, and earnest action to thwart the schemes of aggression.
