Beijing - Saba:
Consumer prices in China stabilized in July, while producer prices continued to deflate. Consumer and business sentiment was negatively impacted by weak domestic demand and uncertain trade conditions.
Data from the National Bureau of Statistics of China showed on Saturday that the consumer price index (CPI) remained stable last month on an annual basis, compared to a 0.1 percent increase in June.
On a monthly basis, the CPI rose 0.4 percent, compared to a 0.1 percent decline in June, which was higher than expectations of a 0.3 percent increase.
