Russian forces carried out concentrated strikes in the Odessa region, targeting a large Ukrainian ammunition storage center and a gathering point for foreign mercenaries.
Sputnik quoted Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of pro-Russian underground groups in the Mykolaiv region, as saying on Friday: "A strike was carried out against a temporary deployment point for foreign mercenaries in Odessa."
Lebedev explained: "A strike was carried out against a deployment point for foreign mercenaries. Among them were Latin Americans, but there were also Europeans. They were reportedly officers serving in NATO countries. They were evacuated by helicopter, while the rest were evacuated by ambulance."
Lebedev added that a large weapons depot, possibly containing missiles, was destroyed in Odessa.
As for the strikes on Odessa... a large weapons depot was destroyed, reportedly housing an arsenal of missiles.
