Singapore-SABA: Oil prices rose on Wednesday from a five-week low, amid concerns about supply disruptions after US President Donald Trump threatened to impose tariffs on India over its purchases of Russian crude.
Brent crude futures rose 29 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $67.93 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude rose 28 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $65.44 a barrel.
Both crudes fell more than $1 on Tuesday, settling at five-week lows and suffering losses for a fourth session, due to concerns about oversupply due to the planned OPEC+ production increase in September.
