Iran’s Revolutionary Guards affirmed on Saturday that the parties planning genocide in Gaza are pursuing broader goals, namely the domination of resource-rich and strategic regions worldwide, particularly in Islamic countries.
In a statement marking the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, the Revolutionary Guards said, "The recent talk of a devilish plan to establish two states, Palestinian and Israeli, will not divert us from the path taken by the martyr," according to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency.
The statement added, "We reiterate the heroic slogan of Hamas and the words of the martyr Haniyeh: ‘We will not recognize, we will not recognize, we will not recognize Israel.’"
The Guards praised the steadfastness of the resistance and the people of Gaza, describing it as a continuation of the path of martyr Haniyeh and all resistance martyrs.
"Contrary to the delusions of the Zionist enemy and its devilish supporters, the Al-Aqsa Flood was not a fleeting event in history but a doctrine and a field strategy drawn with the blood of martyrs, foremost among them the great martyrs Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar," the statement continued.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards described the Zionist enemy’s starvation crimes in Gaza as a modern form of genocide, emphasizing that these crimes are being committed amid global silence and Western-American complicity.
They also hailed the worldwide wave of support for the Palestinian people, calling it "the fruit of the pure blood of the martyrs and the injustice and suffering endured by the people of Gaza."
The Guards condemned the assassination of martyr Ismail Haniyeh a year ago in Tehran and demanded immediate action to lift the siege on Gaza and halt the genocidal crimes.
