A group of 13 wounded and sick Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip, accompanied by members of their families, arrived in Spain to begin treatment in Spanish hospitals.
The children were transported by Red Cross ambulance after a Spanish Air Force plane flew them from Jordan to Zaragoza Air Base, where they will be transported to medical centers in the provinces of Catalonia, the Basque Country, Navarre, and Asturias, according to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa).

Israel demanded an immediate ceasefire, allowing humanitarian aid to enter the country to provide basic medical care, and allowing food to enter without any obstacles, so that civilians can live in peace in a Palestinian state recognized by our country.
She emphasized that "the evacuation took place despite the difficulties, and Spain is carrying it out because the bombing has completely destroyed the health system, even though hospitals are protected under international law."
The minister also stated that "one of the children has a heart condition and is accompanied by his mother, who has an amputated leg. They came alone because Israel prevented their father from accompanying them."
She said, "Spain is doing its duty: receiving, providing care, and saving the lives of Palestinians, especially in light of the genocide being committed against them by Israel."
