Tehran – Saba:
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei denied on Friday the repeated accusations against Iran by the United States, France, and a number of Western countries, describing them as "laughable and baseless."
Baghaei said, "The United States, France, and the other signatories of the recent statement against Iran are trying to divert world public opinion from the crimes of genocide and starvation committed by the Israeli enemy in Gaza," according to the Iranian Mehr News Agency.
He stated that these countries, as regimes that support and embrace terrorist elements and groups and promote violence, "must bear responsibility for these actions that violate international law."
In a joint statement, Canada and the United States, along with a number of NATO members, claimed that Iranian intelligence services are pursuing what they called "attempts to 'kill and kidnap' citizens in North America and Canada," without providing any evidence.
