Jawf - Saba:
The local authority in Al-Jwaf Governorate handed over the Khubz Al-Nu'maniyah road rehabilitation project in Al-Masloub District to the implementing contractor, paving the way for the start of backfilling, compaction, and spraying works.
The project spans a total length of 10 km and 680 meters, with an estimated cost of 41,220,000 Yemeni riyals.
The project was implemented with active community participation from local residents and support from the local authority through the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Funding Unit and the Central Emergency Interventions Unit, which provided diesel supplies.
In this context, the Director of Al-Masloub District, Adel Al-Zurai, emphasized the importance of maintaining agricultural roads, noting that the project will alleviate burdens on citizens and facilitate the transportation of agricultural crops to markets.
Al-Zurai praised community efforts in supporting development projects, stressing that collaboration between official entities and the local community is the optimal way to overcome challenges and achieve a better developmental future for both the district and the governorate.
The handover ceremony was attended by the Deputy Director-General of the Projects Funding Unit, Abdulqadir Al-Zurai; the Director of the Executive Unit for the Construction, Maintenance, and Development of Roads and Public Buildings, Engineer Raad Al-Soulani; Works Engineer Fahmi Thawabhen; and members of the project's community committee.
