Amran – Saba:

The Executive Office in Amran governorate, chaired by governor Dr. Faisal Juma'an, held a meeting today to discuss ways to improve administrative and developmental performance in the governorate.

The meeting, attended by Secretary-General of the local authority Saleh al-Makhlous and Amran Undersecretaries Abdulaziz Abu Khurfasha and Hasan al-Ashqas, reviewed the service and project needs of the recently established Bakil al-Sawad district.

Attendees listened to reports from the directors of the Health and Education Offices outlining the district’s requirements in these two sectors and what has already been provided.

The Executive Office approved the preparation of a detailed matrix of the district’s needs, to be submitted to the Ministries of Local Administration, Rural Development, and Finance for action, aiming to meet the district’s service and development needs—including health, education, and roads.

Governor Juma'an stressed the importance of completing the establishment of executive office branches in Bakil Al-Sawad District, addressing any issues, overcoming obstacles, and carrying out tasks based on available resources.

He affirmed the governorate leadership’s commitment to supporting the district’s local authority across various fields and expressed hope that executive office officials would intensify their efforts to fulfill their duties and enhance office performance despite the difficult conditions caused by the aggression and blockade.

The Executive Office also heard a report from Head of the Education Sector Zaid Rattas on the progress of the 1447 AH academic year across the governorate’s schools and the formation of a committee to monitor educational performance in its districts.
