Tens of thousands of citizens in Dhamar province took to the streets on Friday in massive rallies held across 53 squares under the slogan “Steadfast with Gaza and Palestine… Rejecting Deals of Deception and Betrayal,” reaffirming Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and resistance.
The participants reiterated their firm stance in standing by Gaza and the Palestinian people, regarding this as a religious and moral duty in the path of jihad for the sake of Allah.
They condemned the ongoing silence of Arab, Islamic, and international communities in the face of genocide and starvation inflicted on Gaza by the Zionist enemy with American support.
The demonstrators emphasized their commitment to the option of resistance and jihad against the forces of global arrogance and hegemony. They praised the steadfastness and bravery of the resistance fighters in Gaza and all occupied Palestinian territories.
In a joint statement, the rallies denounced the unparalleled crimes being committed in Gaza—documented by sound and image—and declared that the ongoing starvation and mass killings mark a dark moment in human history. The statement stressed that all of humanity, and particularly the Islamic Ummah, is being tested in its faith, values, and moral integrity.
The rallies also warned Arab nations that they face the most difficult test of their Arab identity, Islam, and brotherhood. The outcomes of this test will be recorded in the pages of divine judgment, historical memory, and the consequences will be faced in this world and the Hereafter.
The statement affirmed the people’s intention to continue holding weekly rallies as a form of jihad and obedience to Allah, in support of Gaza and Palestine, and in rejection of deals of betrayal. It declared firm support for the advanced official and popular position Yemen maintains, and trust in Allah as the source of strength and guidance.
Moreover, the statement welcomed the Yemeni Armed Forces’ decision to activate the fourth escalation phase, describing it as a reflection of the pain and anger in every Yemeni heart. It urged the military to carry out this decision with full force against any entity still dealing with the Zionist occupiers, who represent the ugliest face of modern-day brutality.
The demonstrators hailed the continued legendary resistance operations in Gaza despite the dire conditions. They emphasized that such real, courageous actions are what truly matter—while empty statements and political posturing have never saved the oppressed or relieved their suffering.
Finally, the statement issued a stern warning to any party attempting to stir chaos or weaken Yemen’s honorable stance in support of Palestine. It reminded the world that Yemen has already paid a high price for this position with blood, pain, and sacrifice, and that any attempt to undermine this legacy would ultimately backfire. The Yemeni people and their armed forces remain fully prepared to confront all conspiracies, betrayals, and acts of aggression, standing firm until justice prevails.
