Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, sent a message of condolences to the President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Abdul Latif Rashid, over the victims of the fire that broke out at a commercial center in the city of Kut, in Wasit Province, eastern Iraq, which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries.
President Al-Mashat expressed his sincere condolences to the Iraqi President, the families of the victims, and the brotherly Iraqi people for the tragic incident. He prayed to Almighty God to grant mercy to the deceased, a speedy recovery to the injured, and to protect Iraq and its people from all harm.
