Gaza – Saba:
Twenty-nine Palestinians, including children and women, have been martyred and dozens more injured since dawn on Thursday, as a result of the ongoing genocide perpetrated by the Israeli army against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip for nearly 22 months.
According to local, medical, and media sources monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Israeli army's attacks across the Gaza Strip since dawn included tents for displaced people, a house, a civilian gathering, and a church.
In the latest attacks, three Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli shelling targeting the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip. Two Palestinians were martyred and dozens were injured by Israeli army fire while targeting aid workers northwest of Gaza City.
This was preceded by the Israeli shelling of the Holy Family Church in Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, which resulted in the death of two Palestinians and the injury of others, including Father Gabriel Romanelli, the church's parish priest.
Prior to that, 17 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli army attacks since dawn on Thursday, including eight in an airstrike on a popular gathering to secure aid in the Al-Tawam and Al-Karama areas. Four Palestinians were also martyred in an airstrike targeting an apartment in al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city.
In the Al-Bureij refugee camp, east of the central governorate, five Palestinians, including children and women, were martyred and others were injured in Israeli drone strikes targeting tents housing displaced persons.
The strikes occurred inside Abu Al-Helou Al-Sharqiya and Abu Al-Helou Al-Gharbiyya schools, causing a fire in the tents.
With American and European support, the Israeli army has continued to commit genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
This has resulted in the deaths of 58,573 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 139,607 others, as of Wednesday.
This is a preliminary toll, with thousands of victims still buried under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
