The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its armed forces have taken control of the towns of Karl-Marx and Nikolayivka in the Donetsk People's Republic, inflicting heavy losses on Ukrainian forces in equipment and personnel on various fronts of the special military operation.
The ministry said in a statement: "The forces of the Russian East Group continued their advance deep into the enemy's defenses and liberated the town of Karl-Marx in the Donetsk People's Republic."
