Civil Defense spokesman in Gaza Major Mahmoud Basal said that his crews are facing significant challenges in recovering the wounded and bodies of the martyrs in al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, as a result of the Zionist enemy targeting it with more than 20 bombs since this morning.
The spokesman confirmed in media statements on Wednesday that his crews are unable to reach al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, following the violent Israeli enemy airstrikes.
Basal explained that the enemy army bombed homes with their residents in raids east and west of Gaza City.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in its daily statistical report on the martyrs and wounded from the Israeli aggression on Wednesday that the death toll from the Israeli military aggression since October 7, 2023, on the Gaza Strip has risen to 57,680, in addition to 137,409 wounded with varying injuries.
The Ministry of Health reported that the death toll and the number of injuries since March 18, 2025 (the enemy's breach of the ceasefire) has reached 7,118, in addition to 25,368 injuries.
It noted that seven martyrs and more than 57 wounded arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip, among those martyred in aid in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the total number of people martyred in the struggle for their livelihood who arrived at hospitals rose to 773 martyrs and more than 5,101 injuries.
