Quds - Saba:
Majed Abu Qteish, a leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), stressed that the repeated settler incursions into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Zionist enemy forces, and the escalating demolition of civilian homes in Quds neighborhoods, the most recent of which was in Anata, represent a dangerous escalation in the war waged by the occupation against the Palestinian presence and the nation's holy sites.
Abu Qutaish said in a press statement on Wednesday that these daily incursions and Talmudic rituals inside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque are an attempt to consolidate the occupation's complete control within the framework of the temporal and spatial division project adopted and consolidated by the enemy. They constitute an assault on the sentiments of millions of Muslims around the world.
He pointed out that the enemy's demolition of citizens' homes in Quds constitutes a systematic crime aimed at forcibly displacing residents and emptying the city of its people as part of the Judaization and ethnic cleansing schemes being openly implemented by the enemy. He emphasized that these schemes will not succeed in changing the city's identity or shaking the steadfastness of its people.
Abu Qutaish called on the Palestinian people in Quds, the West Bank, and the occupied territories to mobilize and maintain a strong presence in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and to maintain a permanent presence in its courtyards in defense of it against the occupation's schemes that target its Islamic identity.
He stressed that the presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque is a religious, national, and moral duty, and a clear message to the enemy that Al-Aqsa Mosque is the exclusive right of Muslims, and that our people will not allow it to be isolated or divided, no matter the sacrifices.
He also called on Arab and Islamic countries to take urgent action to halt these escalating attacks, protect Al-Aqsa Mosque and its holy sites, and halt the enemy's aggressive policies and ongoing religious war.
