The Mexican national team won its 10th Gold Cup title after defeating the United States 2-1 in the final match held today, Monday, in Houston, as part of the continental tournament co-hosted by the United States and Canada.

Raúl Jiménez scored in the 27th minute and Edson Alvarez in the 77th minute for Mexico, while Chris Richards scored in the fourth minute for the United States.
