Governor of Dhamar, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, and the Head of the Customs Authority, Adel Margham, inspected on Monday the progress of the educational process at Al-Thalaya Model School for Technology and Applied Sciences in Dhamar city.
During the visit, Governor Al-Bukhaiti provided an overview of the modern education experience at this school, which was established by the local authority as a step toward educational reform. He noted that this model school, which has attracted top students from both public and private schools in Dhamar, represents a qualitative initiative aimed at producing graduates who meet labor market demands.
He pointed out that the school is equipped with advanced facilities, including classrooms, educational tools, diverse laboratories, as well as computer labs, mechatronics workshops, and modern training facilities that align with the scientific advancements in educational institutions.
Governor Al-Bukhaiti described the school as an advanced educational experiment, with its teaching process based on modern international curricula.
For his part, the Head of the Customs Authority emphasized the importance of this pioneering step in reforming the educational process , bringing about a qualitative shift in education , innovation across various specializations and technical fields. He praised the efforts of the local authority’s leadership in establishing this school, which represents an exemplary model of the desired education system, keeping pace with modern educational institutions.
He stressed the importance of supporting and nurturing the school, providing it with more modern , advanced equipment, and expanding this experiment to other provinces and districts to produce high-quality graduates capable of keeping up with rapid scientific developments , meeting the demands of development and labor market needs.
The school’s director, Abdul Salam Al-Dhawrani, presented an overview of the educational process, the knowledge and sciences students are acquiring according to the highest quality standards, aiming to bring about a qualitative shift in technical, technological, and modern education.
