Gaza – Saba:
The Palestinian Football Association announced the death of player Muhannad Al-Lili, star of the Services of Maghazi Club, who succumbed to his wounds after an Israeli airstrike that targeted his home in the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
The association explained that a drone targeted his room, causing severe bleeding in the skull that led to his death.
Muhannad began his football career with Services of Maghazi and played for several clubs, most notably Shabab Jabalia and Gaza Sports, before returning to his mother team.
He was denied the opportunity to see his son, who was born outside Gaza, after he was unable to leave the Strip during the aggression.
With his martyrdom, the number of martyrs from the sports movement rose to 585, including 265 from the football family, while the occupation destroyed 264 sports facilities, including 12 stadiums funded by FIFA.
