Sana’a - Saba:
Fares Al-Kahali, the Deputy Governor of Sana’a for Services Sector, inspected on Wednesday the workflow at the branch of the Public Telecommunications Corporation in the province.
During the visit, the Deputy Governor received a briefing from the branch director, Badr Al-Din Al-Madani, on efforts to improve services, the qualitative work carried out during the past Hijri year, and the challenges facing operations at the main center and its sub-branches in the districts.
Al-Madani pointed out that efforts have been made to keep pace with the expansion of telecommunications network coverage and services provided by the corporation across the province’s districts.
In a meeting with the branch’s leadership and staff, discussions focused on the corporation’s plan for the new Hijri year 1447, including the inclusion of a matrix of new projects to enhance services. Efforts to complete infrastructure projects—such as fencing and constructing the corporation’s sites in several districts—were also reviewed. These projects aim to extend modern telecommunications services to rural areas through the establishment of new stations.
During the meeting, the Deputy Governor praised the role of the branch’s leadership and staff in keeping telecommunications services aligned with needs and rehabilitating the branch’s facilities damaged by aggression.
He affirmed the local authority’s commitment to addressing any challenges facing the corporation’s branch.
