Hodeida - Saba:
Today, the Education Sector in Hodeida Governorate organized an expanded consultative meeting for the administrations of private schools in the districts of Al Hali, Al Hawak, and Al Mina.
During the meeting, the Education Sector Official in the Governorate, Omar Bahr, reviewed preparations for the new school year, expressing his hope that it would be a year filled with giving and excellence for private schools and their teaching staff.
He emphasized the importance of raising awareness of religious, national, and moral responsibility toward the educational process.
He explained that private schools are a key partner in the educational process and bear significant responsibilities, alongside government schools, in instilling a Quranic religious and cultural identity, improving the quality of education, and activating educational activities that develop students' capabilities and protect them from destructive cultures.
The Education Sector Official also emphasized the need for private schools to adhere to their duties and the directives of the Ministry of Education, most notably the school calendar, tuition fee controls, adherence to the national curriculum, and adherence to the approved transparency regulations.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Head of the Education Division, Amira Ba'awidan; Director of the Private Education Department, Ibrahim Addas; Director of Kindergartens, Muhammad Suwaidan; Director of Girls' Education, Nawal Aqili; Director of Community Participation, Ishraq Saleh; and Directors of Education in the Al-Hawak and Al-Mina districts, Mustafa Al-Magharem and Ibrahim Ayed.
