Hamas leader Abdel Rahman Shadid said that the settlers' burning of Palestinian land and property in Ramallah, Nablus, and Hebron, as well as other crimes and attacks in the West Bank governorates, represent the true, ugly face of these Israeli settler gangs, which understand only the language of destruction and sabotage.
Shadid added in a press statement on Wednesday that these terrorist attacks and the escalation of settler crimes, in addition to the demolition and confiscation operations and the construction of new settlement outposts, such as in the Mu'arjat area in Jericho, will not weaken the resolve of our people or dislodge them from their land. Rather, they will strengthen their steadfastness, resilience, and adherence to their rights.
Shadid warned the enemy of the consequences of its aggression and plans, and its unleashing of settlers to wreak havoc in the West Bank. Our people and our resistance cannot remain silent in the face of injustice and aggression, and the occupation will reap nothing from its brutality but disappointment and defeat. He called on the masses of our people in the West Bank to escalate the confrontation and engagement with the enemy and its settlers, and to defend their land and holy sites with all forms of resistance.
