A tribal mediation successfully resolved a murder case today between members of the Al-Aqilan clan in the Al-Amour area of Al-Ta’iziyah District.
During the reconciliation, attended by Acting Governor Ahmed Al-Masawi, Shura Council member Salah Bajash, Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Khalid, and Taiz Security Director Brigadier General Shukri Mahyoub, Abbas Mohammed Ali Aqilan, on behalf of the victim’s family, announced a pardon for the perpetrator, Ammar Saeed Abdulaziz Aqilan, as a gesture of goodwill and in honor of those present.
Acting Governor Al-Masawi praised the victim’s family for their noble decision to grant forgiveness, in response to the guidance of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who has called for reconciliation and the resolution of social issues.
Attendees stressed the importance of ending internal disputes, strengthening societal unity, and confronting the real enemy threatening Yemen’s land and people.
They affirmed the revolutionary leadership’s and the Supreme Political Council’s commitment to resolving tribal feuds and preventing adversaries from exploiting internal divisions to undermine national security and stability.
Speakers also emphasized the need to consolidate unity amid the current stage, which is marked by conspiracies targeting Yemen’s sovereignty and independence.
