Brigadier General Saeed Montazer Al-Mahdi, spokesperson for Iran's Internal Security Forces Command, announced on Saturday the foiling of an attempted bombing using a half-pound electronic explosive device planted by elements linked to the Zionist entity in an area west of the capital, Tehran.
The Iranian news agency Mehr reported General Al-Mahdi's statement, noting that the operation succeeded thanks to the vigilance of citizens and the rapid, professional intervention of specialized bomb disposal teams. The device was detected, immediately transported to a safe and uninhabited area, and successfully dismantled without any casualties or damage.
