Dhale’ - Saba:
Acting Governor of Al-Dhale’, Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, inspected on Saturday the first-phase rehabilitation and maintenance project of the "Yareem-Damt-Marees" road, implemented at a cost of 400 million Yemeni riyals.
Al-Shaghdari was briefed by the Director of the General Authority for Road Maintenance in Al-Dhale’, Mohammed Al-Najjari, on the project's components, which the authority is executing with funding and supervision from the Road and Bridge Maintenance Fund. The maintenance work includes repairing road cracks and implementing water drainage and protection measures.
Additionally, Al-Shaghdari reviewed the progress of Al-Ameriya School construction project, which is being implemented at a cost of 85 million riyals, funded by businessman Ahmed Al-Barti. The school consists of nine classrooms, along with facilities and teacher housing.
The Acting Governor praised Al-Barti’s role in establishing the school and called on businessmen to support similar service projects that benefit citizens and contribute to local development.
Later, Al-Shaghdari inaugurated the "Nabdh Al-Hayat" Medical Center in Damt, which will provide medical services in internal medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, and obstetrics/gynecology.
