Taiz - Saba:
Al-Raheda Customs Center in Taiz governorate, in cooperation with the Anti-Smuggling Unit, thwarted on Saturday a quantity of smuggled medicines.
Center Director Mohammed al-Jebri explained that the medicines seized on board a vehicle contained 35,315 strips and ampoules, comprising 45 types.
Al-Jebri emphasized that drug smuggling poses a serious threat to citizens' health and the national economy, praising the efforts of the Anti-Smuggling Unit in Taiz in thwarting smuggling attempts, both of which involve medicines and other goods.
He indicated that the center will not hesitate to perform its duties and seize various prohibited and smuggled goods and merchandise.
