Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi met today with the Minister of Interior, Major General Abdulkarim Al-Houthi, to discuss the overall performance of the Ministry and its affiliated security units, as well as progress in implementing its plans for the current year.
The meeting addressed the recent successes achieved by security agencies in combating crime and espionage activities, and their impact on maintaining security and stability in the capital, Sana’a, and the liberated provinces. It also reviewed efforts to enhance public services and streamline access procedures for citizens.
The Prime Minister praised the dedicated efforts of the Ministry and security forces in strengthening public safety, maintaining social peace, and thwarting numerous hostile foreign plots targeting the nation and its people.
He emphasized that the Government of Change and Development has given special priority to the security sector in its general program, recognizing its pivotal role in preserving internal stability and countering enemy conspiracies.
