Arab foreign ministers condemned the Zionist aggression against Iran and called for effective and influential international action to halt Israel's aggressive actions and policies.
The Arab foreign ministers also called, after their meeting on the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) conference scheduled to be held in Istanbul, Turkey, on Saturday, for a return to negotiations to reach an agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue.
In their statement, the Arab ministers warned that "Israel" is pushing the region toward more conflict and tension.
In their statement, the Arab foreign ministers called on the international community and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities to stop the Israeli aggression, which constitutes a clear violation of international law and a threat to regional security. They stressed that the only way to resolve crises in the region is through diplomacy and dialogue in accordance with the rules of international law.
The ministers said in the statement: "The current crisis cannot be resolved through military means, and comprehensive calm in the region will only be achieved by addressing all causes of conflict and tension, starting with halting the aggression on Gaza." They accused the occupying entity of pushing the region toward more conflict and tension, which calls for effective international action to halt Israel's aggressive policies.
