Tehran – SABA:
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Friday that the United States has requested talks with Iran, but Tehran has rejected the overture, declaring such dialogue impossible while Israeli attacks and aggression continue.
In an interview with Iranian state television, Araghchi said: "Under the current circumstances, with the Zionist regime’s ongoing attacks against Iran, we have no interest in talks with anyone... The Americans want this—they have sent messages multiple times, serious messages—but we have made it clear to them that unless the aggression stops, there is no room for dialogue or diplomacy," according to Sputnik News Agency.
Araghchi emphasized that Iran views the U.S. as a complicit partner in Israel’s aggression against the Islamic Republic.
"Some countries have mediated and presented proposals, but we have not engaged with the U.S. and will not engage," he added, dismissing reports of direct communication as false.
