Gaza – Saba:
Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, announced on Friday that they carried out a complex operation using two missiles targeting an enemy command and control headquarters and a Zionist special forces unit in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip.
The Brigades stated in a press release received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): “In a complex operation using a guided ‘Fagot’ missile and a ‘Malyutka’ missile, we targeted an enemy command and control headquarters and a Zionist special forces unit entrenched in several houses west of Salah Abdul Ghafour Mosque, north of Street 5 in Khan Yunis.”
The statement added: “We achieved direct hits, forcing Zionist helicopters to land at the scene after intense gunfire and smoke grenades were deployed, and we observed casualties being evacuated from the area.”
This comes as part of the Palestinian resistance factions’ response to the genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against the people of Gaza, supported by the U.S., since October 7, 2023, which includes killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement — all while ignoring international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt these atrocities.
