Mohammed Saree', Deputy Secretary of the Capital Secretariat for Agricultural Affairs, and Mohammed Tabaqa, Assistant Chairman of the General Authority for Small and Micro Enterprise Development, inspected today the ongoing training program for cotton processing at Al-Yateem factories as part of economic empowerment initiatives.
Accompanied by Engineer Zaid Al-Qulaisi, Director of Technical Affairs at the Agricultural Finance Unit, the officials received detailed explanations from female trainees about the training curriculum, acquired skills, and challenges faced during the program.
The visiting officials emphasized the commitment of supporting and implementing organizations to fulfill all technical and training requirements that would enhance performance and optimize program outcomes. They described the initiative as a crucial step toward localizing cotton manufacturing and strengthening domestic production.
This field visit forms part of ongoing monitoring and evaluation activities for economic empowerment projects jointly implemented by local authorities and supporting agencies, aiming to build women's vocational capacities and facilitate their sustainable integration into the labor market
